Applicability of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Suite Edge’s website, online marketing tools, and platform — including the associated Suite Edge mobile and desktop applications. By continuing to use our services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this policy.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party applications or software that integrate with the Managed Services or the Suite Edge platform, including Third-Party Services or any other third-party products or businesses.

Information We Collect & Receive

Suite Edge collects and receives various types of data and information from its clients and users of its services, which may include:

  • Client Data: This refers to data submitted by clients when using the services.
  • Other Information: Suite Edge also collects, generates, and/or receives other information, which includes:
    • Account Information: To create or update a Suite Edge account, clients provide Suite Edge with an email address, phone number, password, domain, and/or similar account details. In addition, clients provide billing details such as credit card information, banking information, and/or a billing address to Suite Edge or its payment processors.
    • Usage Information: Suite Edge collects information about how authorized users interact with its services.
    • Services Metadata: Metadata is generated when an authorized user interacts with the services, providing additional context about the way authorized users work.
    • Log Data: Our servers automatically collect information when the Websites or Services are accessed or used and are recorded in log files. This log data may include the Internet Protocol (IP) address, the address of the web page visited before using the Website or Services, browser type and settings, the date and time the Services were used, information about browser configuration and plugins, language preferences, and cookie data.
    • Device Information: Suite Edge collects information about devices accessing the Services, including the type of device, operating system used, device settings, application IDs, and unique device identifiers. Whether Suite Edge collects some or all of this Other Information often depends on the type of device used and its settings.
    • Location Information: If clients enable their mobile devices to send location information to Suite Edge, it may collect and store their location information, including GPS coordinates. Collection of this information may improve the provision of the service.
    • Suite Edge offers Suite Edge applications that connect its Services with Third-Party Services. When enabled, the provider of a Third-Party Service may share certain information with Suite Edge. Authorized users are advised to review the privacy settings and notices in these Third-Party Services to understand what data may be disclosed to Suite Edge.
    • Any contact information that an Authorized User chooses to import (such as an address book from a device or API) is collected when using the Services in accordance with the consent process provided by their device or other Tthird-Party API.
    • Suite Edge may receive Third-Party data related to its business from parent corporations, affiliates, subsidiaries, partners, or other sources to enhance its own information. This data may be combined with other information Suite Edge collects and might include aggregate-level data, such as which IP addresses correspond to zip codes or countries, or more specific information, such as the performance of online marketing or email campaigns.
    • While certain information is collected automatically, failure to provide some information, such as software setup details, may prevent Suite Edge from being able to provide the services.

How We Use Information

Suite Edge processes client data in accordance with the client’s instructions and applicable laws, as well as any terms outlined in the agreement. As a processor, Suite Edge acknowledges that the client is the controller of the data.

In addition to client data, Suite Edge also uses other information to operate its services, websites, and business. This may include using such information to maintain and protect the services, prevent errors, address security or technical issues, analyze usage and trends, and respond to user requests. Suite Edge may also use other information to develop and provide additional features, communicate with users, and perform administrative tasks such as billing and account management.

Suite Edge may use aggregated or de-identified information for any business purpose, but if the information is associated with an identified or identifiable natural person and protected as personal data under applicable data protection law, it is referred to as “Personal Data” in their privacy policy.

Data Retention

Suite Edge will retain client data in accordance with a client’s instructions, including any applicable terms in the Agreement and client’s use of Services functionality, and as required by applicable law.

How We Share & Disclose Information

The following section outlines how Suite Edge may share and disclose the information described in the previous section titled ‘Information We Collect and Receive.’ It is important to note that Suite Edge has no control over how third parties may choose to share or disclose this information.

  • Client Instructions: Suite Edge may share and disclose Information in accordance with a client’s instructions and with appropriate consent, including any applicable terms in the client agreement and the client’s use of services functionality and in compliance with applicable law and legal process.
  • Client Access: Owners, administrators, authorized users, and other client representatives and personnel may be able to access, modify, or restrict access to Information.
  • Third-Party Service Providers and Partners: We may engage third-party companies or individuals as service providers or business partners to process Information and support our business. These third parties may, for example, provide virtual computing and storage services, or we may share business information to develop strategic partnerships with Third-Party Service providers to support our common customers.
  • Corporate Affiliates: Suite Edge may share Information with its corporate affiliates, parents and/or subsidiaries.
  • During a Change to Suite Edge’s Business: If Suite Edge engages in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganization, sale of some or all of Suite Edge’s assets or stock, financing, public offering of securities, acquisition of all or a portion of our business, a similar transaction or proceeding, or steps in contemplation of such activities, some or all Information may be shared or transferred, subject to standard confidentiality arrangements.
  • Aggregated or De-Identified Data: We may disclose or use aggregated or de-identified Information for any purpose. For example, we may share aggregated or de-identified Information with prospects or partners for business or research.
  • To Comply with Laws: If we receive a request for information, we may disclose Information if we reasonably believe disclosure is in accordance with or required by any applicable law, regulation, or legal process.
  • To enforce our rights, prevent fraud, and for safety: To protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of Suite Edge, its users, or third parties, including enforcing its contracts or policies, or in connection with investigating and preventing illegal activity, fraud, or security issues, including to prevent death or imminent bodily harm.

With consent, Suite Edge may share Information with third parties when we have consent to do so.

We take into account the sensitivity of the data we collect, process, and store, as well as the latest technological advancements.
